Vern is a multi-instrumentalist, (guitar, vocal, bass, drums), specialising in guitar. In addition to having established himself as a session guitarist in the pop music industry, Vern writes and produces music.

Writing and Recording

Vern is currently co-writing with various writers and producers including TMS Productions (One Direction / Little Mix / Olly Murs / Rita Ora / Sigma / Kwabs / Fleur East / Professor Green / Ella Henderson), Chris Bishop (Syco / Freestylers / CTRL-Z / Autobots) and Chris Smith (specialist in music for TV, film and advertising with numerous sync licensing credits including, Budweiser / Singapore Airlines / Hyundai).
In 2004/05, as part of production duo ‘Muddy Funkers’, Vern wrote and produced soundtrack which featured on successful multi-platform gaming titles, ‘Mashed’ and ‘Ford Racing 3’, released by developer, ‘Empire Interactive’.

Live Experience

Between 2011 and 2013, Vern played for Max Rafferty (ex The Kooks) as his touring lead guitarist in the UK and Europe.
Between 2008 and 2010, Vern played as lead guitarist for Friday Night Hero (singer, Alex Uhlmann now fronts Planet Funk) in the UK and Europe.
